Many consumers’ reviews for Shaklee's products claim that the products work effectively especially Shaklee's Get Clean line, which is a safer alternative to the commonly used toxic products while also being good for the environment. Shaklee has also been the recipient of several awards such as the Social Accountability International award for Environmental Stewardship in 2002. Oprah Winfrey has as well recommended Shaklee’s products in her show (Oprah's favorite things of 2007). However, as for the compensation plan, a number of former distributors state that with Shaklee you cannot achieve a substantial success due to the outdated business model and the company's constant change in the compensation plan and benefit cutbacks during the last three years. Our Verdict
