Nu Skin

A large number of product reviews for the Nu Skin company state that their product prices are extremely over priced and that not all of their products are effective . There has also been a couple of allegations stating that Nu Skin was indeed a Pyramid Scheme (Not making the majority of money through the sales of product but actually making it through recruiting more people)  but were dismissed after investigation.

Amway

   Amway had been accused of being a Pyramid Scheme ( A business that pays money to people that enroll other people in the scheme without any product or service being delivered) , but in 1979 the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)  acquitted these charges saying that their payments were not for recruiting but based on retail sales to consumers. Another accusation was to the criminal tax evasion and costums fraud in Canada that Amway pleaded guilty to, resulting to a $25 million fine and more related accounts exist. Many reviews claim that on one hand Amway helped boost their sale techniques, leadership skills and helped them set bigger dreams for themselves and on the other hand it taught them to be deceptive as sales people and  told them to convince people about the products as adamantly as possible (some might go as far as to say to the point of annoyance) . Last, all of Amway’s products got great reviews in terms of effeciency.
